On March 26th, 2006, a total solar eclipse was visible from the Mediterranean cost of Turkey.
Thousands arrived to this area to witness one of Mother Nature’s great spectacles.
These pictures were taken about 30 kilometers East of Antalya.

One Comment for Tam Güneş tutulması - Total Solar Eclipse - Turkey 2006
Your photos are beautiful. Can you tell me if there was a solar eclipse visible in Turkey in 1400 BC. I am writing a novel about the Hittites and this knowledge would be exciting to write about.
I would be most appreciative.
