When digital photography and the Internet started to play a significant role in our lives during the beginning of the millennium, I started utilizing these means to share sights of the world as well as raise awareness to environmental issues. PowerPoint Slideshows circulating via email distribution became an attractive tool to do so, and they took various formats – unique landscapes collections, “Svivon” environmental eMagazine, and later a full blogging infrastructure. My MA thesis work is ‘electronic’ as well – it is an analysis of satellite communications network traffic in rural Peru.
