ראיתי את המצגת המדהימה שלך של בתי הכנסת בסלובקיה, מעניין שבחרת ללוות אותה בתפילת 'כל נדרי'. הלא רצית להראות שבסלוקביה יש עדות לחיים יהודיים שהיו בה עד לשואה. תפילה זו אמנם מתאימה מאוד כיוון שהתחברה כדי שאנוסי ספרד יוכלו להשתתף עם הצבור בתפילות יום כפור,והמנגינה המרטיטה היא המנגינה שבה ליוו הנוצרים את טקס שריפת היהודים באו טו דה פה בתקופת האינקויזיציה. האנוסים שברחו מספרד הביאו מנגינה זו ומאז שרים את התפילה שאפשרה את השתתפותם בתפילה באותה מנגינה שבה היו שורפים את אלו שמסרו את נפשם למות על קידוש השם. המשך בדרכך לפרוט על נימי הנשמה |

בקרנו בסלובקיה לפני שנתיים. ראינו את בית הכנסת ברחוב קושינובה ולצערנו הוא מוזנח , סגור הלכלוך בכל מקום מפוזר מסביב וניכר שלא מתייחסים למקום. מצער ביותר. חוץ מזה סלובקיה ארץ מדהימה ביופיה ומומלץ לבקר בה |

| For all those who wonder...
The "Kol Nidre" in the "Synagogues of Slovakia" presentation is performed Johnny Mathis. It can be found in two CDs: "Good Night, Dear Lord" and "Johnny Mathis 40th Anniversary Edition". Worth mentioning, that this background music was not part of the original presentation, and added later by an anonymous viewer. Although violating the copyright terms of the presentation, the "Kol Nidre" addition adds an enchanting atmosphere to the presentation, which has been circulating around the globe in its new format for more than a year. |
