Watch a rare documentation of a flash flood in Wadi (Nahal) David in Ein Gedi Reserve, The Judean Desert, Israel.
From the rain dropping on the area and the beginning of the flash flood, we shall follow the water current as it flows through the Nahal David canyon and pours to the Dead Sea creating a magnificent “mushroom”.

Good build up of the flood. Latter part showing the effects of the water destroying the sides of the wadi, excellent. Found it difficult to believe that it was so cold, as shown by the youngsters wearing anoraks. Was in Ein Gedi in Oct 2007.
Here is my new year greeting to you http://aeroal.smugmug.com/photos/632011873_d8vMu-M.jpg

Boker Tov Guy!
We just returned from Ha’aretz where I travelled along the Dead Sea with a friend. We missed a Judean Dessert rain storm by 24 hours. I had hoped to show her how quickly the Wadi’s can change with flash floods. Your video provided an excellent and “safe” example. Now back in the Galut. Oh well.
Thanks!
