Prilep is a charming laid back town, but as train service in Macedonia is aging, the town’s station allows a sort of a retrospective view into train history.
The view from the short ride is inspiring, especially during sunset time
The few passengers on the train use it to go back from the “big city” to the little remaining villages. The sights of disembarking the train in the middle of nowhere is usual for this ride.
