Alpine Peace Crossing took place this year on June 26-27, 2015. 188 people participated in the events, which included the walk from Krimml Tauernhaus in Austria to the village of Kasern in Italy through the 2,634 meters high Krimmler Tauern pass, to commemorate the 5,000 Jewish refugees, who crossed the Alps on the same path in several nights of summer 1947, on their way to the land of Israel. The peace walk raises the awareness to refugees issue worldwide. More details at the Alpine Peace Crossing website.
