The project started as a photography assignment to document Haifa Oil Refineries installations, especially the two cooling towers that were not in use any more. The project evolved into a tutorial about the refineries in a PowerPoint slideshow format. The tutorial, aimed at non-technical audience, provided explanations about the various processes in the refineries, with intuitive explanations and illustrations. This slideshow has been serving the oil refineries for several years for training and educational purposes.
The visit inside one of the two non-functioning cooling towers was a once in a lifetime experience as well as a photographer’s dream.
