The tree has grown and became a landmark by the Sea of Galilee. This is the April 29th, 2017 version of it:<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n<p>In recent years, due to several dry winters, the water level of the Sea of Galilee is decreasing, so as the sanity level among the people of Israel. A week after Israel&#8217;s 70th Independence Day, the tree collapsed during a storm, exposing pretty loose roots.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_1_placeholder\n<p>On May 14th, 2018, members of the Kibbutz planted a new cypress.
