The 'Around Annapurna' or 'Annapurna circuit' trek, is one of the greatest trails in Nepal and maybe in the whole world. A great mixture of different forms of landscapes and variety of cultures and faces.

From plain rice fields areas 1,000 meters high, to amazing mountains areas 5,000 meters high, this trek is an amazing trip - three unforgettable weeks.

The beginning of the trek starts not far from Pokhara
and takes us threw beautiful areas of rice fields, all full of water.

After about 6 walking days the trek starts to climb to about 2,500 meters. Walking along the Marsyangdi river, we start to see the high mountains above us getting closer and closer, and entering areas of lovely pine woods . In this picture, a huge cliff calles "Paungda Danda" is seen behind the trees.

About 3,000 meters high lies the village Pisang, and after it - this cute little green lake, under the Annapurnas .

A quite difficult climb takes us to Ghyaru
a small and unique village 3,670 meters up, with a beautiful panoramic view of the Annapurnas .

Manang, main village in its isolated surroundings, is located 3,300 meters up. Most people in Manang are Tibetan-Buddhists. Some of the cute children of Manang can be seen in this picture.

Goats and stone houses of Manang can be seen in this picture.
