Summer of 2011 in Israel will definitely be remembered for the outstanding social justice protest that swept through Israel. It started in Tel Aviv, when young people protesting against the high costs of dwelling pitched tents in Rothschild boulevard and moved to live there. Soon, the tents became a city of tents, home to protesters from all over the country. It became a melting pot for those aiming at creating a social change in Israel.
